Utah Recieves an A Grade on State Efforts to Improve Financial Literacy
Using national data, Center for Financial Literacy graded all states on their efforts to produce financially literate high school graduates. This report card gave Utah an A grade in efforts to provide high schools with personal finance education.
Book Your Summer
My529 Book Your Summer contest, in conjunction with the Utah State Library, kicks off May 1st and runs through July 31st. Go to your local public library and sign-up for the summer reading program. Then you are eligible to go to www.bookyoursummer.com to register to win one of six $1,000 my529 scholarship accounts.
K-6 Financial Literacy Challenge
K-6 Students have the opportunity to recieve a $25 youth savings account from American First when they complete eight activities and two reflection questions from the Financial Literacy Challenge.
